It’s cold outside, but I love it. Frost everywhere, sun in the sky and a warm home to stay in. It’s a good day to be productive
Have a nice one too!

It’s cold outside, but I love it. Frost everywhere, sun in the sky and a warm home to stay in. It’s a good day to be productive
Have a nice one too!

Is not the one pictured here, but from the same family, so won’t look very different and yes, as promised – he’s gonna end up being somebody’s (yours?) for free.
Little Osvald is nothing but giggles with Bob on my wall. No idea what they both are on about, but It’s fun making these and it’s definitely fun having them around the house, puts a smile on your face and makes it wider if there already was one
. The production is gonna start again very soon, anyone wanting to reserve a hedgehog – drop me a line and I’ll do my best.
Now then, Osvald is up for grabs – just leave a comment and keep as many fingers crossed as you can
We gonna choose an owner for this boy next Thursday the 27th. Good luck!

I’ve been given a chance to open up a little about my very important self by a lovely Kyoko
.
1. I have two kids, but still would like one more.
2. I’m 5.9 feet tall and I could count on my fingers how many times I’ve worn high heels so far.
3. I’m not too much into cooking these days, but give me a reason to bake… For eating what’s baked I never need a reason, just a will to stop
4. I’ve sown a proper fully lined winter coat at the age of 17 and a long evening dress at 19, both entirely by hand. I’ve been told it looked really god. I would still wear it if I would have it and would still fit in it… eh.
5. Having a choice of spending an afternoon in a spa, being pampered or to buy something that lasts – so far I haven’t doubted – I’ll buy a chair over 2 hours of full body massage. The only exception is food
It doesn’t last, but I’ll not say ‘no’ to a good treat.
6. I often have at least a couple of books that I’ve started reading and will choose one depending on what mood I’m in to. Usually it’s either uplifting fiction or medical books. I’m obsessed with natural health topics
7. If I would have a choice to go back in time it would be the 1920s.
I pass the tag on to:
Some rules that come with the tag:
1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog – some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.
Well it’s not much, but let’s say it’s not the quantity, but the quality what we count
New teddies almost popping into my etsy shop:
first up is Oak with Dutsy (a talking parrot who only says nice things, so far)

then we have Nidas and tiny Sol (duckling who thinks Nidas is his mom)

Bigger boys:
no name 1

no name 2

no name 3

I’ve also finished one of the two things I’ve started knitting

It was for my little set – all for a gorgeous little boy Emlyn, our friend’s first born

I’m quite proud of my linen bibs

I admit, I like making small things mainly because I like fitting with tiny details and love sowing by hand, so anything that requires sowing machine is a much bigger challenge for me, but I’m getting there
. I made my first mini linen trousers, crap picture, but those pants are definitely not!

To be continued…
I read somewhere, that around one month priory to your birthday you’re supposed to take it all easy, as apparently it’s quite a serious time, where no big decisions, plans, acts are recommended… It’s all about preserving, thinking, charging up and leaving the lot for latter. And all of the above was crossed over in my life last week. Will report later if that turned to be a good thing. Phew. Any volunteers to keep fingers crossed for me?
Here are a couple of things I’m allowed to talk about:
I’ve managed to bake 53 cookie medals (had to modify the recipe to use far less sugar and add some lovely spices) for kids from my son’s school for a fun sporty afternoon in a park that me and my darling have pooled together (I’m too proud to not to mention it – sorry!!!
).

And yes, at last, I’ve made toys and they are not bears!

What do you think? Opinions needed
I think I’m going to explore more outside the teddy theme
That doesn’t mean I’m saying ‘no more’ to my grizzly bears
OK. That will have to be it for now. Will be back next week. Enjoy yours! x
My toys are finally in the shop.
It’s Paavo. Who would not live without carrots

and his buddy Bongo

and would not go to bed without hearing his favourite story, yes, about that enormous carrot…

Kimiko is a girl’s girl. My girl for now, but could be yours

Yoris. Serious, but knows how to have fun, shy, but with right approach is easy to befriend and is in need of a good loving home. And hopes to find a great friend. I hope with him…
He’s my special bear, well, they all are(!), but Nuka is my first bigger prototype of the mini bear brothers and sisters. I’m very happy with the result and the bear is very happy too. Only now he needs to make somebody else happy
Simas
Weekend proves to be the wrong time to promise a post
I’ve 5 minutes before we shoot off to the swimming pool so here we go:
I’ve a little bunny up for grabs. She’s been waiting for somebody to offer her a loving home and I can not think of any better way to solve it then giving one of you a chance to own her.
Here is Boni

About 15cm (5.9 inches) tall (from tippy toes to ears). Needs assistance with standing up on her own. She can sit, move her little arms and legs + her dress is removable.
I’m not making more of these (you never know, but at the moment I’m into mohair toys….), so it’s sort of a last chance. If you like her – drop a comment – convince me you really want to have her and wait for the results
Boni is gonna come with a little something, but that’s for the new owner to find out
I would say we give a couple of days for this Boni thing and then I hope she goes to a nice home.
Hope you’re having a nice weekend, I’ll be back tomorrow with some new bears…
x
has been very patient and a very well behaved boy. He’s been waiting: first for somebody to offer a loving home, then for his display box to be done, then for the great owner (my sister in law, who also has my Barney ) to come in person and take him to the new permanent place to live. It took me ages to finish the idea as I wanted the box to be more than just an empty boring place for my teddy… Since Laurenzo’s new owner loves all things sweet and she wanted her new bear to become friends with Barney – as a result the little bear got some muffins, a cuppa, a calender hanging on the wall, a framed picture of a bagel, a lamp, and some glow in the dark stars with the moon… plus enough room for that Barney to drop by.
My sister in law was happy. Laurenzo exited. I’m relieved.

I’ve been trying my best, among other things like 3 of us being down with food poisoning (thanks to the The Pumphouse ), having to scrub our entire flat as we have some very dear guests arriving tomorrow and just craving to be in peace, I’ve somehow managed to make 3 little ones to cheer us all up.

Niel. He effortlessly knows how to make you smile by telling jokes or by puling funny faces. I love that. Laughing person is a happy one. Niel definitely is

Vinicio. Wants to be like Winnie the Pooh. Eat lots of honey and have a great bunch of friends. And a lot of honey. And honey. Honey.

Odi. My sweetheart. Says his best friends are plants and we have no idea how beautiful green fairies are…
I think these are my last bears, or any other items to go to the etsy shop this year as I’m sooooo behind with making things for my kids pressies , finishing projects I started and abandoned that were meant for myself… If I succeed you’ll see some more work I can do besides making little toys
Wish me luck.
