‘Carrots! Carrots! Caaarrroootttsss!’ – on demand from this little creature

‘I wish my scarf would be white, not brown…’  – comes from the corner of my desk. So I’m looking for some white yarn now for my white bunny. I’m also gonna make a white quilt for her. And white cakes to go with a white tea set. All in a white wooden box…

And there are two more bigger bears… One needs legs and both – clothes, toys… So still quite a bit to do, but I’m getting closer and closer with my proper shop update. I’m!

New stuff is coming.

Some of you might forgotten already, Christmas came, Christmas went, we live in so called the ‘New Year’, in other words – life goes on. Hope moods are  good on your side.

Holidays being the thing of the past, I’m slowly getting back to using my free time wisely. Hmmmm. Wiser. Ok, a bit wiser. My book of ideas has got fuller over the last couple of weeks, so there should be, and I only hope there will be, new things made for my shop. I’ve noticed, I have this annoying tendency to speak out too loud before I actually have anything to prove my big words with, so bear with me while I’m looking for ways to improve that New things and those free patterns (don’t remind me how long ago I’ve promissed them to you)… are coming!

Big Eeva is finished by now, but she’s gonna be part of a set, so I sill have lots to do before she and Molly are’ offered in my shop.

After the rain the sky will shine and that’s so beautifull… I put headphones on and imagine myself walking on that white soft carpet that covers the sky. Nothing else arround you, no other sounds. The mind is free. Breath in,  close your eyes and spin arround… runn arround, leave footprints, move clouds with hands, make patterns and watch how the wind customizes it all. I love it. The sky, the clouds and happy me…

Well it’s not much, but let’s say it’s not the quantity, but the quality what we count New teddies almost popping into my etsy shop:

first up is Oak with Dutsy (a talking parrot who only says nice things, so far)

then we have Nidas and tiny Sol (duckling who thinks Nidas is his mom)

It was for my little set – all for a gorgeous little boy Emlyn, our friend’s first born

I’m quite proud of my linen bibs

I admit, I like making small things mainly because I like fitting with tiny details and love sowing by hand, so anything that requires sowing machine is a much bigger challenge for me, but I’m getting there .  I made my first mini linen trousers, crap picture, but those pants are definitely not!

He’s my special bear, well, they all are(!), but Nuka is my first bigger prototype of the mini bear brothers and sisters. I’m very happy with the result and the bear is very happy too. Only now he needs to make somebody else happy

What do you do, when your day starts with Monday, rain, dark sky, strong wind and a kid that instead of ‘good morning’ says ‘I don’t want to go to school’? I tend to hate Mondays (and I hear it’s pretty normal), but today is the day when I decided some things can be changed.

I’m playing this amazing, fantastic, beautiful, uplifting and unique album. It’s so mine for today…

And I’m gonna smile a lot today. And tomorrow… And be positive. And not concentrated on my appointment with a dentist tomorrow. Play and laugh. And love Monday.

Lately I’ve been not feeling too well. Daily headaches and higher levels of unnecessary anxiety left me exhausted physically and mentally. But, today it’s all colors bright again as I’ve started Chinese acupuncture course and have other things lined up to help me feel better, so I’m back.

I’m in bed quite early in these days , that’s good for me, but that also leads to big sights every time I look at my new fabrics…

I have big hopes for some new toys soon. Big hopes for a lot of new things actually.

Speaking of which, here is a couple…
