As yet another year is nearing it’s end I would like to cross that finishing line with a good deed up my sleeve. And you could join me and be part of it.
I’ve been thinking of ways to make some sort of difference, somewhere, somehow and since the biggest things start from the simplest small steps, I thought of an auction to raise some money and share the profits with our local community, with those less fortunate. We would very much hope to donate some of the money to the local Soup Kitchen and the other half to our favourite Big Issue sellerwho’s the loveliest man we know, he will appreciate this gift, however small!

Felting is such a relaxing (and not expensive as you don’t need any costly essential equipment) and fun group activity as it enables just about anyone to take part in a creative session and go home with something beautiful made with their own hands. There is no particular artistic ability required for success, conversation and laughter is part of the fun!
I’ll teach various basic techniques (you’ll learn about wool, needles, how to form and join shapes, use wire ) and help making a small (not miniature!) creature of your choice.
The cost is £80 for one day. All materials for the day + a kit with felting needles/needle protection tube/pad to take home, coffee/tea + snacks and homemade cake included. Please feel free to bring your own packed lunch as we’ll have a short break.
Book your space with a friend and you will get a £5 discount each, just let me know who you’re coming with.

My husband and I spoke about celebrating our 40’st Birthdays on the road, somewhere in America. We even shook hands on it. There was never a real plan though, just a nice idea. One, that we’ve also never worked on to help it all materialize. Well, perhaps just dreaming about it counts?
Fast forward 2 years and see us standing on American land, taking day trips and getting bewitched by glorious beauty of Oregon/Washington. Magic happened, we did it. And it was great. Really, really great!!!
