My boys had a day off from school and while the teachers were on strike, we went to the Royal Academy of Arts and  explored the Sensing Spaces exhibition. We also saw Norman Stevens work I’ve never came across before…

My colleagues have all been. Kengo Kuma is building the V&A here in Dundee. We are most excited by his work. Did the kids enjoy it all?

Well, Kengo Kuma’s installation was great (as expected), but as a whole, the exhibition was overrated and not worth the £20 we’ve paid to see it. My boys, aged 8 & 12 rated it 4 out of 10. I personally liked 3 things, but generally it wasn’t the most inspiring exhibition we’ve seen.
V&A is one of my all time favourite museums to go to. The one in Dundee is promised to look amazing!
