You’ve inspired me to make one for my now 8 year old daughter…..not the same as yours of course….but it’s so much work…..I have a different kind of respect for all who make toys by hand…I’m back to knitting and sewing clothes for her….

I’ve some antique clothes & bedding (dating 1860-1930) that have been entirely hand sewn, it’s amazing how people used to manipulate fabric without any machine help! I love the fact that human hands have given life to something lasting… that’s what I hope for with my toys
