About the maling list

I usually don’t do custom orders and thought my idea of doing something like this ‘Mailing list’ would be sort of an alternative for both sides. Seeing how many of you are hoping to one day own something I’ve made is truly flattering, but there have been some drawbacks. Since offering people to queue for a chance to buy without having to ‘stalk’ my shop, I’ve started to doubt if it’s not too big of an effort on my side. First of all – having to wait for people from the list to get back to me. I’ve tried contacting only one person at the time, but sometimes due to personal reasons or often just because of the time zone differences – the response sometimes is slow, sometimes there would be no response at all. So finding a buyer can take a few days, waiting for the payment another day or two and frankly I would prefer to spend my time more on actual making things than having to chase people.

Without giving up the ‘Mailing list’ I’ve decided to change the process a bit and from now on I’ll send a group e-mail to those who are waiting for the same type of set etc. with a link to my updated shop and from there it will be ‘first come, first serve’. The buyer then will be removed from the list and the process will continue… Hope this makes sense! If you change your mind and no longer want to be on the ‘Mailing list’ and do not want to receive e-mail from me, just drop me a line, so I know it. ;)

Hi Mia, I just found your blog and fell in love with your foxes immediatly! They are so cute. I´m telling my older one as bed time story often a story about a little fox – and your cute foxes (even if they are girls) remind me of my story fox. :)
    Many greetings from Berlin*

I think this is very a good way to give people a possibility to adopt one (two, three..) your creations. I like it ;)

Kaffiknopf, while in the process of making my toys I always ‘see’ them alive. My imagination hints me what sort of personalities they are and from there one can so get carried away dreaming :) . Then they go to new homes and their lives stories start all over again. Greetings to you and foxes from your stories ;)
Rasa, it’s the best way I can think of at this time. Will see if it proves itself right ;)
