My both boys, 4.5 & 8 years old, loved it :) Those darker bits are quite short and 'guided through' with cuddles and some reassurance ;) I think the beautiful idea of great importance to share/pass the knowledge, in this case in form of a book, is so strong and dominant, that children 'get it' and see the film in quite a positive light. At least mine did. We've seen it twice so far and both times it was a completely immersive experience. So hope for the dvd in English. Celine - you're lucky! :) Audrey – all depends from a child. My sister send me the dvd and my little son watch it over and over..sometime it's a bit scary but my son, take my hand and say it's just bad vickings, maman ! We watch it in french , i'm glad they translate it...it's a good animation. yes, i love it too.
